PRODUCING THE FIRST DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER
EMC was the birthplace of the first transformer, thanks to boldly improving the equipment, researching the design.

EMC is the unit that has successfully manufactured and operated the first tranmission transformer.
ISO 9001:2015 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
With a total area of about 50,000m2, the factory is planned to be built to meet the needs of manufacturing, repairing, testing all kinds of transmission and distribution transformers:
1. Electrical engineering steel workshop: The area is more than 1,200m2 with storage areas for imported Silicon corrugated iron, and Silicon sheet cutting machine workshop.
2. Electromechanical workshop: The area is about 1,200m2, the 110kV transformer production area has a workshop linking the adjacent production factory with the KEROSENE drying oven area and the 110kV laboratory according to ISO standards. : 9001:2015.
3. KEROSENE kiln area: Total area is about 350m2. After the machine is tested and finished winding, it will be put on the rail into the drying oven to perform the oil drying and vacuum oiling process for 48 hours continuously.
4. Independent testing laboratory with code VILAS 160: The area is more than 500m2, with a modern equipment system, meeting the requirements of testing transmission and distribution transformers manufactured at the Factory.
With a modern design, vehicles with a load of over 100 tons can flow directly into the factory. The 80-ton gantry crane has the function of lifting heavy-duty transformers, hoisting into the pits for dismantling operations. In the factory, there is also an area for a 250-ton hydraulic press machine, a flip table and magnetic circuit boss, an operating rack, a vertical wire winding machine and a horizontal wire winding machine. After the machine is tested and wrapped, it will be put on the rail into the drying oven. In addition, there are a number of machinery and equipment for the new fabrication and repair of 110kV voltage transformers.
Meeting market requirements, increasing productivity and product quality, EMC invested in a second factory in Dong Van 4 Industrial Park, Ha Nam province.
EMC Ha Nam factory has a scale of about 85,000m2 with modern factory system, equipment imported from advanced countries in G7.
– Automatic line of folding, welding, blasting, cleaning the machine shell, powder coating, drying the machine case;
– Corrugated core sawing line; high-voltage wire winding, automatic low-voltage winding, copper foil winding; vacuum drying;
– Vacuum oil filter line;
– TEST line.
